An Odd Week

Seriously I am so confused. What day is it? Yesterday felt like Sunday and although I dread Mondays for bringing me crabby boys who are usually tired and wish their daddy wasn't at work I love Mondays for the Bachelorette girls night. So as I had the daily debate with myself this morning about going for a run or not (it is good for you, it helps you wake up, you always feel better afterwards, but I am so exhausted, it is hot out, I am so exhausted) I realized it in deed is not Monday but rather Thursday, almost the weekend.



That holiday in the middle of the week threw me off. We've had kind of a random week with little projects here and there. A little superhero birthday project called for some masks and pictures which we did one afternoon in the hundred degree weather. Don't ask me why but the boys were in good moods, Bren wasn't crying and I wanted to check it off my list. More details on that project later.






















I wanted a visual, daily reminder of our new weekly goal and this is what I came up with; not super creative but works for now.



The fourth of July brought hot heat, a relaxed day and a fun evening with friends. My pinterest firecracker cake turned out really well and was easy to make. I am excited to take this idea and tweak for other parties.















Ok I think that is just about all the randomness for a day. My big boys are having a sleepover with their cousins at my mom's house and I am hoping to get this little baby to sleep, then... a new Poplin product!
