Three 2 One

Well I did it. The van is a disaster, I still havn't had lunch but somewhat successfully took all three boys to our PB & J Bike Parade this morning. Not that 3 kids is anything crazy but when your oldest is only 3 and can be the biggest challenge I was a bit nervous.

My wonderful mama friend Amy came up with the parade idea, brought a bunch of kiddos and invited neighbors. The plan was to bring already decorated bikes, scooters, strollers and wagons. Well the lack of sleep has slowed me down and bit so this morning with less than an hour til parade time I was frantically searching for crepe paper and sent my hubby to the store for candy and balloons.

Before we even got to the park the balloons flew out of the car and Trexen's bike wasn't decorated. As we arrived though everyone settled down and we were ready for fun. Trexen did an awesome job riding around the track with his friends and wasn't even shy (a big accomplishment). He is just learning to ride a bike and is using one from my mom's daycare so it is a "girly bike" but he doesn't mind. (Oh I am embarrassed at the weak decor)

We enjoyed some popcorn, candy and crackers after the ride.

Brenner was beginning to fidget and I knew feeding time was around the corner so we scurried off to the post office and then to McDonald's for some before-lunch shakes. The big boys made so many good choices and I was really thirsty for a mocha frappe so why not. Overall a great morning with a few bumps in the road but we had a good time. This was just a warm-up, there will be a bigger, even more fabulous Bike Parade mid-summer.

Now on to a busy weekend and hopefully some bottle training for little B!
