B-I-N-G-O

Bingo! I don't know what it is about this game but I love it. Seriously it made my day in school when the teacher said we are playing math bingo or Spanish vocab bingo. All the other students were moaning, it is boring, I don't want to play while I was practically jumping out of my seat waiting to scream B-I-N-G-O! I even have a real bingo set with the spinner ball and everything. Now that I think about it maybe I will have a bingo party soon, just because, with really awesome prizes, candy as markers and a night of the best game. You never need a reason for a party and when you have a game as good as bingo you really don't need a reason beyond that.

Ok onward, as I was surfing the web (one of my favorite 10pm lay on the cough rituals) I came across a blog with a simple kids bingo idea. Using crayon draw a 9 square board, write in some simple words or names and get motivational markers.

I choose Mike-n-Ikes as our markers because that was the only candy I had, however fruit loops would be my first choice. I quickly drew the game boards and put in mostly names and a few easy words.

Paceler who is 2 was much more interested in eating the treats but really liked finding the "P" for his name.

Trexen (3 yrs old) on the other hand is a bingo player after my own heart, anxiously awaiting for the very moment when screaming B-I-N-G-O was appropriate.

Being two and three we didn't get through many rounds of the game but they enjoyed it while learning to recognize letters and names. I kept the game cards and we will for sure be playing again!
